The boutique hotel is within walking distance of Transylvania University, Civic Center, Rupp Arena and Lexington Opera House. Talon Winery is within 15 miles of the hotel as are three horse race tracks, including Kentucky Horse Park, home to John Henry, the plain, brown horse who became the world's leading money earner despite being physically, pedigree and aesthetically challenged.
Gratz Park Inn, originally the first medical clinic west of the Allegheny Mountains, today exemplifies the southern grace and charm for which Lexington is known. The hotel features a fitness center, business center and complimentary wireless Internet access in public areas. Corporate meeting facilities, meeting rooms and banquet facilities can accommodate from 65 to 100 people.
