Lemongrass Thai restaurant was established in 1995 and to date has 4 outlets serving authentic Thai cuisine. Try its Pomelo Salad, a tasty appetizer that provides a refreshing change from the usual greens with its distinctly Thai taste. Another specialty, Tom Yum Soup, comes in three flavours - hot and spicy, in clear soup, or as tom kha gai, which is a concoction of coconut milk, galanga, lemongrass and lime leaves. Do not miss the green curry with a choice of chicken, beef or prawns that contains pea-shaped eggplants which release a fragrance that adds to the appeal of this curry. Another hot favourite is the Crispy fish that comes with delightful homemade chilli paste. Instead of the ever popular pineapple rice, try the black olive rice for a change. The rice is fried with minced chicken and preserved black olive. For dessert, try the fresh durian or mango with sticky rice. The restaurant has a trademark drink of lemongrass iced tea, which is a unique brew of jasmine tea and lemongrass.
